I just laid down 300 feet of soaker hose in my 1200 square foot patch. How can I increase the water pressure. Right now, the water is only making it to half of the hoses. The patch is 50 feet from the house. Thanks.....Ray

Ray,
I found that with more than two in series & the third fails to work entirely. So rather than take chances, I put splitters between them all. Each one now has it's own supply line to avoid "issues".
Have you covered the plants? We're in for weather!

So you would run all of them from a splitter that is attached to the main hose. Basically all 3 or 4 soaker hoses attached to the main by a splitter

Not exactly. I got nervous about connecting even 2 hoses in a series after observing a reduction in output in the second hose & no output at all from a third. In their defense, the manufacturer warned of this on the package.
So the patch has one hose dedicated to each plant. Then a manifold feeds each "soaker zone". Each soaker zone is further split so that each soaker has it's own individual feeder hose.
I think I've become Terry's biggest hose customer. LOL

Just my 2 cents. Water one zone at a time and have less than 100 foot of hose to a zone. Also it will make a difference depending if you have 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch hose. Water

Haven't tried it yet, but I purchased a drill driven pump that you can put "inline" to boost water distribution. (Around $14) I will use this too boost gravity pressure if necessary.

Ray do you have a well or public water?

Ray,
I would think you would have sufficient pressure, is the valve opened fully from your incoming service? On my soaker hose(s) I increased the hole in the restricter washer. That increased the pressure. My hose going out from the house is a 3/4" This all worked fine for me until the soaker hose became plugged from the iron in my well water. I now use a filter on my soaker hose water.

Ray,
Ours have a yellow rubber plastic flow restiction device mounted in the input end where it screws onto the hose-bib. I thought about removing this to at the point where the second has attaches to the first. But I didn't. You might want to try that.
