On one of my plants the cotyledons are turning pail green and have yellow/browning on the edges. Is this normal? And can they be removed? The rest of the plant looks very healthy. Thanks

Most dicot plants only use their cots until the real leaves are up & producing energy. That said, our AG's last year still had old leathery oversized cots right through the end of summer.
My concerns for losing them this early:
>>Mobile nutrient deficiency like N or K. The growing plant needs something it isn't getting from the soil so it's taking it from where it can. >>Not enough time acclimating. A rapid move to full natural sunlight will also do this.
Its not that cots do much for the plant. But their very early loss could be telling us something.
Can you get some picture up? How old, what soil, time under artificial & natural light? Need more info to be sure.
