My AG's have been up for about two weeks. When do i start "pounding" the fertilizer to them? I will start with 20-20-20 then when pumpkins start maybe go with liquid 0-10-10? What do ya think?

most growers do not pound the chemical ferts to plants, moderation is the key. Some growers go totally organic, others use chemical and organic. Try and get your hands on a fish and seewead emulsion like neptune's harvest, it's good stuff. When your plant is young, most people fertilize very very lightly if at all until 3 or 4 true leaves. I wouldn't use much 20-20-20 until the plant starts running, and moderation when you do use it. Slow and steady wins the race. Best wishes, Jim

Go easy on the ferts and "look" at the plant. It'll tell you whether it does or does not need anything. Look at the healthy, well growing plants in others diaries as a reference and act accordingly. By all means, do not "pound" your plant with ferts or your season is gonna be long and disappointing. Like Jim said, small amounts and spread out. If your soil is somewhat prepared and amended you're not really going to need to fertilize much at all. I've blown 'em up, rotted them down, and overall ruined many a perfectly good pumpkin using too much chemical fertilizer...go easy.
