What makes a good Grower Diary? This is a very subjective question. Some people like educational posts, some like great photos (oriented the right way), timely posts are nice too. Having a complete story of your growing season from seed selection to weigh-off maybe?

What about a grower diary with YouTube videos? One thing is for sure, we ALL benefit when there are lots of good Grower Diaries to go through and learn from.

Great Idea...the number of diaries have been on the decline the past few years with lots of diaries going to the Dark Side of Assbook. Maybe this will bring em back home. Come on people this is where we cut our teeth.

I like when there are also pictures of places people have been or doing different stuff besides just pumpkins (remember tumbleweeds). Ned is right about farcebook and youboob as well as dikdok. Definitely more than just providing links

Todd, I have been processing Premium Memberships in about a day.

You can see your Premium Membership status on the "Change User Settings" page from the main menu. If is shows "Active" then your submissions are not held up for review.

I do not currently have an email notification when a Premium Membership is processed. Is that something I should add?

Ken, is there going to be a way to make edits on our diary entries? That would be fantastic! I just posted several entries & a couple didn’t end up with the photos I attached to them. Do we need to re-size our photos so they will upload? Also because they didn’t “keep” the pics which I attached, they are going to be out of order…is there a way we can change/fix/edit the order of our entries? Sorry to be a pain, but I would guess that I won’t be the only one facing these challenges/issues. Thanks!

This is going to be super cool! I love things which I can learn from & if I can help others learn at the same time, even better! Bigpumpkins.com has been probably the biggest game changer over the years as it has provided us with a forum to share & exchange information. I think the recent upgrades to the site will truly take it to a new level. Thanks again Ken!

Russ, yes, I will be adding edit on Grower Diaries too. The iPhone app has had edit for awhile now. I have a friend working on the app now so we can it back in the app store. Apple has a lot of rules and we have to get it in compliance.

Most phones now are SUPER hi-resolution, so it helps if you "edit" the photo first before uploading. I will do a tutorial on this soon.
