I was curious what the heat tolerance was like of the 783 daletas seed. Poor, average, above, or very heat tolerant. If you have heard about it or know from experience, it would be nice to know about it. Thanks, Jim

Duster I think where you are at you will do alright with that seed. Just keep doing what your are doing you will be fine. Almost any seed that comes from up there is great. Our friends up in Oregon and Washington, maybe are just a little nervous we might out do them. It might take us a couple more years but we will catch them. LOL

I used to live in El Cajon, then in Oceanside. It was hotter in El Cajon, but still not hot eough to do real damage to any AG. Can't speak for the 783, but any AG ought to love San Diego proper. Which town are you planting it in?

Speaking from a Gardeners stand point, any thing a person wants to grow is adaptable, it just depends on how much WORK you are willing to do.I raise Many things from zones 9, even tropicals, Think like you are elsewhere and You will be fine!

I'm in El Cajon. We hit 110 degrees in May for one day!!!! Yikes, but that was a new all time record. I average in the low 90's during the hottest summer months. About the 783, I wish I had one, I don't. But I'm looking to trade for it now or in the future:) Jim
