I've heard that loonies like to dig holes & throw money in them. Then they natter about waiting for big orange (or green) fruit to materialize. These are loonies.

A loonie is a Canadian dollar and it's a little bigger than a quarter, or about 1" in diameter. The funny thing is that the two dollar coin is called a toonie....or is it spelled twonie?? LOL

Yup Toonies and Loonies. Both are now just pocket change
like the rest of the coins.

Loonies like to hang out at this site and are "self-proclaimed" experts on every aspect of giant pumpkin growing. They are quick to refute any advise that a seasoned grower may offer, and freely give out their own as if it's the Gospel Truth and the only way to go! They also love to comment on things that they have never tried themselves. If someone stated that Hershey chocolate bars would make bigger pumpkins, there would be those headed to the store for candy bars to feed the patch! NEWBIES BEWARE! Much of what you read is ONLY an opinion!
