i have had to use laundry detergent bottles with water in them frozen to a solid big chunk of ice to cool female blossoms on 90 plus temp days before and after setting to prevent aborts. this year seeing the high temps were going to be here this weekend, i through some in the freezer 2 days ago and place one about 18" from each plant inside the hoophouse to help keep the surrounding air a little cooler, especially since mine were transplanted last evening. the misters help out a lot too, but if you don't have misters then the frozen bottle might help those with hoophouse up in temps above 85 outside and hovering around 100 inside the hoophouse. if you don't have the laundry detergent bottles handy, a bag of ice works too but melts real fast. maybe i am a going a little overboard, but it certainly cannot hurt. just thought i'd throw that out to anyone having a similar situation.

Mine was up near the 100 Mark early this mourning, I opened both side hatch windows and covered the top with a 4x8 sheet of plywood within an 1/2 hr the temp had dropped to 80. then around 4pm i un covered the greenhouse and closed the windows to build the heat up inside for the cool night. last i checked was 8pm and the temp was at a steady 80 so i turned the 2 heat rocks on to keep the temp around 80-85 most of the night.
