After a female bloom first appears, how long will it be before it opens? What is the least number of male blooms needed to pollinate it with?
Thanks, Doug

It varies some depending on the weather in my patch 7-9 days. You can pollinate and have good results with one male (three is probably ideal, but one will work).

I would also say around a week or so, from pea size when you first notice it until it opens.
