The AGGC site has been "down" now for many days. Does anyone know what happened?

The site is down for maintenance and some other things. Hopefully, it will be back up soon.

They sure picked a good time to do it now. THere is people that want to look up seeds, etc and help them to decide which seed to grow, etc.

Mike is not a "they". He is one person. He is also a grower. So if trouble ocurred, perhaps he hasn't the time to repair it now? (guessing)

Mike is aware it's down and is apparently doing maintenance or some other functions with it. He did not say when it would be back up.

Welcome back to the days before the AGGC when a grower had to do his home work well before planting time. Just goes to show you how lucky we are to have Mike and the AGGC !!!! Thanks Mike......Clarence

Once again, I'm fairly naive about it all, but I would think by now people would have made the decision about what they are going to grow. I was working it out all winter and couldn't wait to get them started. Or are some people just now starting the process?

If your confused, go into chat and wait until you get someone in there with some brains to help you make a decision. There are many adequately prepared people that can help with seed selection floating around this site. What ever happend to trying your own seeds by the way?

Tom, our seeds seem to be the only ones popping up so far this season! We are looking really green this year , but have planted back up Gadberry "Orange Ones". AGGC Oh Well, It was built by input from growers like you and I, and if we get held hostage for info by "AGGC" I for one will still be growing Squash/Pumpkins next year, and someone else will be knocking on our collective growers doors for genetic info.
P.S Tom did you get that 834* to sprout?

AGGC is back on now. With enhanced security measures to prevent password sharing. Thanks somebody. I had 2 computers I used to use there.

Man the "security" measures that had to be implemented suck! To bad some folks have to ruin mutiple access points for others because they were booted or were to cheap to pay for access. Sure cuts down on available time to research for me. Thanks (NOT)to who ever caused this darastic measure!

Ditto. What happens when you replace the PC you are using to access the site?

I asked Mike and he said to let him know if you replace the PC you use to access his site.

I contacted Mike directly since I migrate back & forth between 2 computers. Both are on the same wireless broadband splitter. No matter though since they both have their own individual ISNs. Since this one gets replaced (leased machine through work) regularly, Mike says it's no problem changing over when the time comes. Send him an email when the new computer is up & he'll make the switch.
This all stems from password sharing which has been prohibitted since long before this but appears to have become rampant just recently.

I sent a message to Mike few days ago and he said he is not accepting new users.
Anyone know the reason for this?
