OK i know this doesnt really have anything to do with this post but instead of opening a new thread i thought i would add onto here ( hope thats allright )
anyhow is is BEST to start your pumpking on the Main vine of the plant or are secondarys better and why?
next question how do you know WHAT female to pollinate ( picking and chooseing) say youve got a few on the same plant at the same time but different vines? Last question is.
How far from the plant is ideal for starting pumpkings? the closer to the plant the better? or further out?
and whats your thoughts on barrying the vines? could this cause rotting of the vines or anything like that?
thanks Dave
