Does anyone know what bugs are yellow/with black stripes are? I used # Seven powder last year to get rid of them. They were eating the pumpkin leaves like crazy.

They are a close relative of the ladybug.They are very beneficial to your pumpkin.LOL.

UPDATE, I am meeting with the Salesperson in two weeks, worked out a sweet deal and will keep you all posted on the Neem/Karanja oil treatment...By the way, I will have emergency back-up!LOL

Well at least no one suggested Round-up to corral the beetle and get them all into one spot for the kill. ]:o)
