Has anyone ever used stryofoam coolers set down over the new seedlings in their hoop huts at night? or maybe a tomato basket placed upside down over each plant (inside its hoop hut) with a sweater of blanket wrapped around it and then lay blankets etc. over the entire hut? Would that keep everything warm enough in fairly cool weather?

Add a shop light placed within a few inches of the plant. This creates movement of air and warming of air which rises. The back of your hand tells you where warm becomes hot. Simple run the hand test for placement of the light. This is shown in my diary or will be with the next pictures entered.
Anything covering a plant becomes a protection factor.

throw in a laundy bottle of hot water under the styrofome cooler too to retain some heat. then save laundry bottles to make bottles of ice and use the coolers to cool a blossum down before and during pollination if over 90 degrees too.
