Well Round # 2 is off to a great start. Last Sunday I filed and soaked my seeds for 10 hours Early Monday mourning they were planted into 4"x 4" pots. Thursday my seeds ( 2 out of 4) took and cracked the soil surface. By late friday they were both up and out both growing very well. I just finished giveing them there first waterings and they have now been under the light for roughly 15-20 Hours now. both are growing really well and FAST. my question is when should i re plant them to the larger 6" x12" Deep pots? and whats the eaisest way to do this without harming the plants?
also is it safe to plant the new plants into larger pots putting them down deeper so the stem doesnt get leggy ?
basically at the stage my plants are at now when would it be best to transplant them to their larger containers.
come May 8th they will be heading out into the greenhouse and hopefully come the 12th or 13th pending on weather they will be planted directly into the ground.
thanks again for all the help guys
later Dave
P.S you can view my photos of the plants here:

Three to four days following emergence you can see the first true leaf forming. This is when they should go to the patch....not another pot. If you target is May 8th into the patch the seed should be planted today or tomorrow. Eight days in a half gallon ice cream carton pot is about the limit. Longer than this and you have a pot bound seedling under stress which needs to be avoided as much as possible.

Thanks for the information Doc, Seeing i just started my Back-Up seeds this afternoon possibly Monday 3rd i may just plant these outdoors into the soil in the greenhouse instead of stressing the plants twice by going from a small pot to a larger pot then into the patch.
Thanks for the info
