Who's seen the new Miracle Grow commercial that shows a giant pumpkin(facsimile?) I wonder how many sheep will be led to buying a bag thinking that all it takes for a 1000#er is a bag of Miracle grow! (I didn't recognize the pumpkin or the grower, could it just happen to be the mysterious Jill Pacelli?)

The grower is a friend of mine that lives in the same town. The pumpkin taped out over 2000 pounds!! She had some pictures with her at the Niagara seminar and it was a great laugh to see her in the truck with that big ass pumpkin in back! She's a bit shy about the whole thing so I will leave her name out of here for now till I speak with her, and no it's not the infamous Jill...LOL

How shy could she possibly be if she is in a commercial? Taped at 2000#? If she would appear in a commercial then why not try for the $100,000 prize for the first over 1500#? Come on, it would have had to go over 25% light!

Just as soon as you all get all those 2000 lb pumpkin seeds rounded up send me an E. Inclose a $1000.00 for a share on the Brooklyn Bridge deal I will be closing about October 1st. Styled after Jimmy Baker's real estate wisdom there will be three room appartments on the bridge for all investers to use one or more time periods while attending bridge real estate board meetings.

Multiple bridge unit owner's will have first choice on the new Twin Tower Power Units. Free pumpkin pie from the world's first 2000 pound pumpkin will be served every Friday at noon as desert to fresh fish bridge char caught and served by the bridge residents.

RI residents will haul prime fresh bull poopy for the bridge unit gardens. All adults twenty one and older will be taught how to make pumpkin wine and to compost waste fish parts and asundry other crappy stuff.

I guess you guys miss understood my my response. I never said the pumpkin was real! The womans name is Mary-Ann Homis As in George Homis's (on the NEPGA board)wife. The joke was if the pumpkin was real it would have been around 2000 pounds. Just because she filmed a commercial does not mean she cant be shy about it.

It looked fake on the commercial. Hey, wouldn't that make Miracle Grow guilty of FALSE ADVERTISING? Anywho, I've got a frozen strawberry patch up for sale in Alaska if anyone's interested!

LOL...I am a miracle gro user....but mine only got to 422 pounds AND I really suspect that the horse manure they grew in and NOT the Miracle gro got them that big. The reason I use it is it can be used no matter how hot the weather....and it is quite safe....but making them weigh light????? Mine actually weighed heavier than the tape reading said they weighed.
