I think that this sounds Very interesting, Tremor, this is the link, I didn't know if the link had made it to you or not, gee Ya think this could generate as much interest as the 4:20 post!LOL :<} http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/cucumberbeetle.html I have a local source of both the Neem and Karanja oil near by.

Thank You Russ, I have just read a response from the source I mentioned above. I sent a proposal to her, stating what My intended use was, and that for her setting me up with enough product for a spray program(gravis)! And in return, I would chronicle my results, and, Let all you fine growers read of my success or FAILURE!lol She, is very interested in our hobby/sport and of course, hoping to drum up some business! I have to call Monday to "clinch" the deal :o) Phil

Phil, Busy week. I started to go over it. There is a LOT of information there. Good stuff too. I want to explore it all before commenting.
I will say this. If someone is retired & spends a lot of time in the patch, then the bio-rationals are a very do-able way of keeping a clean & healthy patch.
If conventional insect & disease were as dangerous or offered as much colateral environmental impact as some claim, I'd be the first to use predators, etc. There is very little truth in these claims.
When you spend 20 years doing this for a living, you tend to see a lot more than just the headlines. Indeed you see between every written line. In many cases I not only know the authors prior existence, but even the look on his face as he writes.
