I'm up and out of the ground but the leaves on all my seedlings are about 50% yellowish and not spreading out quickly. I'm worried.
I filed, soaked 10 hours, and am bottom watering with a heating unit. Germination was in 3 days.
Thoughts? Thanks Greg

Hi neighbor. I have 2 seeds started just incase. One of mine is doing the exact same thing.
I will wait along with you to see what the guru's have to say...

Relax and give it some time :). When the leaves first appear they are mostly yellow. Once the sun/artifical light gets to them they will spread open and green up.

Thanks Ipswich. So, once they germinate, do you think I should take the heat off them. Greg

Once they pop through the dirt I usually shut down the heat. If it gets a bit cool turn it back on. You dont want to dry out the plant. Put it under some grow lights or a sunny window and let nature do it's thing.

Put a light on 'em and they will green right up. Get the light down close to the seedlings to keep them from getting leggy. I do what John D does:

I've already seen some change in mine today. Things are looking greener! Thanks!
