Yo blackcloud,
It has to go to a weigh-off to be recorded as a new record...with no splits or holes into the cavity.

now that we are back on track.. no its not a 1200 pounder it was a little joke the 16o.z. can of creamed corn i took the picture with actually came from my daughters toy box and was actually about 1" tall and 3/4" in diameter, it just looked like a 1200 pounder...

The hmmmm....is us trying to keep the boards on track. We have not talked to anyone privately yet but everyone seems to know what is going on. We don't want to play cop. We have lots of new content under development and don't have time to watch every post. At the same time we ourselves are outraged at last Tuesday's events. It is just that this site is NOT the place to vent and talk about violence. John and I will continue to remove posts that we feel are in bad taste and/or way off topic.

hey you

Greencastle, PA

They can get kicked off of the giant pumpkin webring for that, believe me, my site is on it and they warned me. I do the same thing with my guestbook entries. Ken's busy in his patch too, he's spread really thin right now, let's try not to hassle him to much, saying 9 posts when there are 3 isn't a big problem, we should only bug Ken and John if it says "warning this site is about to explode" or something like that. Minor details can be fixed later.

Only some of the posts showing is not a problem for me never has been. I think the site is an excellent resource for information about growing pumpkins, and that is why i visit.

As long as everyone follows the submission guidelines located at the top of the board list. I just assumed that the mssing number were off topic posts that were removed.
