Hi everyone! This is my first time ever growing pumpkins and today, I had 6 new blossoms but, I don't know how to tell if they are male or female. (It probably sounds strange, but I don't, I'm only 14 years old) Can anyone help? Thanks Christie

christie, no problem, here's how you tell.......you obviously know what a blossom looks like, so this should be pretty easy. the blossoms with the long stems underneath are the males. the blossoms that are short, and have a little round sphere under the blossom are females. that little round sphere will turn into a big orange pumpkin. well, for some of us, for others.......it will be a big green squ.........oh i can't say it!!! scott
