Not that cannibis users aren't grown up. To me, I consider using it a personal choice more than a personal problem. I know some long time friends that have done it for 25 plus years, and are more responsible than my drunk ass or straight friends. There are lots of other uses for cannibis also that makes me amazed and baffled why its still illegal. Even states that voted to legalize it for medicinal purposes aren't recognized, as the government says the law is te law, no matter what the voters results are. To me that is just WAY WRONG!
As for me, well, things happen to tolerance levels as you age... well... for people other than Alun that is.......
I was called the one hit wonder long ago anyway...LOL

It won't be legal until the pharmaceutical companies can figure out a way to get their company name and logo on it, so they can control supply and demand (and price!) Have you noticed drug "commercials" on T.V. lately? "Ask or Tell your Doctor". I always thought it was the Doctor's job to tell you what drug you needed. Doesn't this make the Doctor a "Dealer"?

Kilr, I never thought about that aspect. Makes you wonder about the court systems... they keep making DUI penalties harsher, fines higher, and insurance rates impossible to pay for the drinking class. It is so easy to find, charge, and convict a motorist who has been drinking. It woud be almost impossible to prove anything with a cannibis user. This is another money motivated reason why cannibis remains illegal, since the court system cant make any money unless the laws stay as they are. The way it is now, at least they can fine you for possession, and make a couple bucks off you rather than nothing. I don't think driving stoned is a grand idea, but I'll take my chances on the road with Cheech and Chong rather than Nic Nolty.
I guess everything in the world is influenced by money. Sad...
What about Canada??? I have not brushed up on what the laws are there, they used to import some hemp products to our dumb asses in the early 90's. I have not seen many products or heard much since then, so not sure whats up with all that. Who knows what the laws are up there and what products are now being made from hemp? Have any new cool products came out, like say, "hemp oil insect spray"? That would be something cool to show off... an organic insect control product. I'd tell everyone it doesnt kill bugs, they just get FRIED from the spray... LMAO!

The only problem i see with the way things are is that the % level that defines under the influence varies from state to state. some goofy legislator here proposed 0.04%. Right now we are at 0.08% - i think that is about right.
I've know a lot of people who have driven around after having 4 or 5 beers. but they are still a risk to the general public... maybe they get 99 out of a 100 time they get home fine... but that 1 time when they injure or kill
someone else and mess up someone else's family is all the risk I need to be in favor of .08% with harsh penalties and high fines... no one thinks it is going to happen to them. yet it happens alot every day !
and it is enough of a risk that I offer many friends a ride home and try to take their keys and talk them out of drivng. I'll it takes is having someone close to you get killed or having been behind a just happenand accedent where a innocent family with children were involved and suddenly it's an easy thing to be more bold and do.
... and yes there are a lot of other poor drivers that are a hazzard and a risk too, but i'd rather just have deal with Nic Nolty on the road instead of Cheech & Chong and Nic Nolty. What happend to just say NO ?
At least that's the way I see things.

Kilr, You are SO right, Why do you think the pharmecutical salesmen visit the DOCTORS! You can ask for and recieve almost anything you want from the Doctor(if he isn't too busy trying to prescribe to you) I gave it up for personal reasons, but it's a sad thing that it is illegal, while in some states they have DRIVE-Thru LIQUOR STORES!

Otherwise by the first of May when we enter EU the ban of hemp cultivation will be removed.
