I'm a little dissapointed with A&L, they said I would have my test thursday, I needed it for this weekend. I call today, they needed to retest something, said they would fax it to me this afternoon. Nothing came. I've heard of another grower with the same problem. I should of sent my test in earlier. I think I'm gonna use Western Laboratories next time, heard nothing but good things and I know they wont flake on me.

I've found A&L to be slow....especially this time of year.
Say 10 days for results.....

A&L Fort Wayne is still sending results out in 3 days via email. 4 days for me for mail, but they are local. I get S2AB, S3. Thats pretty much everything but Nitrate Nitrogen, Ammonia Nitrogen, and Bicarb-P?.

A & L Canada sent mine back snail mail. It was ready in a week but took two for process including snail mail. I called and got the E report before the snail arrived. Full report not including nitrogen. $33.25 American. This was my first expeience with Canada. For me it was faster than Western A & L (whole way to Calif. from Pa.) Same report with no comments. Calls for additonal consultation are $3 - 4.00 if charged.

Sent my test in to A&L on April 2. Recieved my results yesterday; April 12. I think that is a very quick turn around. They did not recieve my soil sample till April 8.

S3C is the package I used.

I am happy with their turn around time.

Every year the labs get slammed this time of year. I'd have to say that if we want results sooner, it is our own responsibility to send the samples earlier.

Rocky,
A& L Fort Wayne lab has a website---algreatlakes.com

The submittal form is found at this link
www.algreatlakes.com/pdf_forms/A&l-std.pdf

I get the S2AB(write S2AB in the other tests box), and S3 tests. Total cost is $26.75. That comes with recommendations. Be sure to include your email address for 3 day email. I fill it out with 20 ton yield goal.
