Subject: Perpendicular to vine?

Thank you for your previous replies. We read the tips concerning positioning the pumpkin. Just so we are clear here, when they say "position the stem perpendicular to the vine", this would mean that the stem should be entering the pumpkin from the TOP as you look down on it, correct? (see crappy illustration below)

If you look at the letter "T" the top line is your vine . The other line is perpendiclar to that line.
--- l --- = vine
l = pumpkin
l is perpendicular to --- Hope this makes sense.
