Had a very scary morning. My daughter was attending a meeting about a half block from the world trade center. She called after the 1st plane crash to say she was ok. Didn't hear from her for3 hrs after the 2nd plane crash that she was ok. Then the bldgs collapsed. She had an angel in her pocket, just called to say, stranded but ok.

Sure makes growing a big pumpkin seem like a trivial matter. My prayers are with those whose lives have been changed forever today. I'm willing to donate my pumpkin to drop(from very high altitude) on the idiot who did this.

I have friends in manhatten, I hope they're ok. I think the palistines did it. I remember looking up at the WTC and not being able to see the top, it was awe inspiering, and now it's gone, allong with the thousands of people in there and on the streets below. I hope every one is doing ok.

My wife's father works in the WTC. We did not hear from him until just before the second, of the two buildings, collapsed. He decided to go in late so he could pack for a business trip to Chicago later that day. Was on the train when the first plane hit and decided to go back to his apt. He watched both buildings collapse from his balcony. He was at a loss of words since it is basically his second home. Prayers out to all affected by this horible tragedy.

I would just like to say that i am truely sorry that this happened, and i would like to say that my prayers are with the families of the ppl that are missing, and those missing. I hope that all turns out for the best.....
This is the worst incident in US history and if you don't care i would like to recomend a song.....I know that the this seems a little odd, but it is a very inspirational song. "In America" by the Charlie Daniels Band! It is a great song and I think that everybody in the world should hear it and take it to heart.

Sending prayers out for the victims and victims families of the cowardly terrorist attacks.I wish there was something i could do to change things. I don't like feeling helpless in any situation.Everybody must keep there heads up and not let the terrorists break us down! Watching the footage on tv, i was overwhelmed by the brave efforts of the many firemen, police, doctors, and regular everyday grunts like us that stood together and started the long process of digging out. It all seems like a bad dream. I just hope our president follows through and sends the guilty party a few gifts of its own. If you live in a glass house, don't be throwing rocks at the U.S!!! God bless, and hang in there!

I agree with Greenhorn, they should't mess with something when they got nothing. If Bin Laden was sooooo brave he would have been in one of those planes but instead he keeps on hiding like coward, therefore he is a COWARD!!!!!!!

Hi all,
I hadn't checked in a while, I have been doing nothing but watching the news for the last few days. I am still in shock and having such a hard time believing that something like this could happen on U.S. soil. I am the daughter, and granddaughter of U.S. veterans. As well as the wife, sister in law, and daughter in law of vets. I pray for all of those who lost family and friends in any of the four attacks. I am also praying for all of us in America, that there are no more attacks, and that are military remains safe when they go to get those responsible.

I now sit and wait and wonder if either my husband or brother in law are going to be called up as reservist.

As the famous saying goes, "That was does not kill us, only makes us stronger". Although many Americans lost their lives this week, the terrorist did not kill America or our American spirit. We have all been united by this tragedy, and America is stronger because of it.

As far as songs go, my favorite is Lee Greenwood, "God Bless the U.S.A"

God Bless,
Karen
