Ok the last soil sample i had completed was this fall with pretty poor results, In the fall i added a few yards of fresh cow manure which was dug in well over the patch, I also tossed in ALLOT of maple tree leaves that were muchled with the lawn mower then i also added a bunch of home compost from the compost pile. dug it all in well and now that spring is here it looks like everything has broken down pretty good.
Last soil i got costed me close to $60 Canadian
I contacted another place this past weekend and just got a message from them
which test is best for me to get done # 1 or # 2
The minimum test that you require is a SAA 1 @$13.50 which includes GST. This will give you pH, Buffer pH , phosphorus,Potassium and Magnesium which should tell you if you have a problem. If you mant more such as Organic Matter and Calcium you would require a SAA3 @ $19.50. The results should take about a week after the sample is received.
thanks
