Do you think cacaowoodchips would be great for pumpkins to keep the soil clean from adventices?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I think any organic matter would be great, especially if
it is findly chopped up. Maybe this should be a "mulch" this
year, and not mixed into the soil?

In Belgium your soil is low in PH, no? If it is low, adding
these may make it lower. I don't know, but it may be that
these cacao chips are acidic. My soil is very alkaline, so
I don't worry.

By the way I go to Belgium frequently for my work. I will
be there the week of April 19, but probably won't be able
to leave Brussells. ;-)
