usually takes 5to 6 days to see any real change then it will go from a golfball to a softball in a day then the real excitement begins. I just pollinated my first pumpkin yesterday so I'm playing the waiting game too.

I just pollinated my first female this morning (first time ever). I will be holding my breath for the next 5 days. I have another plant that should open up tomorrow. Me and my girls are having a blast (mama too). Good luck to all.

Over the last 4 days I've polinated 7 female flowers with males from another Atlantic Giant. My D457 appears to be Gynecious as none of the male flowers have pollen bearing stamens. I too am holding my breath. Good luck everyone.

I pollinated two pumpkins three days ago yesterday thay were the size of golf balls today thy are the size of tennis balls i guess thay took.I let the bee,s do the first three pumpkins for me. There fired thay failed to pollinate in time thay must have over slept lazy drones.thoght i,dadd my 2 cents good luck everyone john g

Pollinated 625 Kennedy on the 7th...like everyone else it sounds like! It was a 5 segment, 11 feet out on the main vine. Temps reached 97 degrees here that day, so had to ice it down all day until about 4 PM. Seems to be growing already, baseball size at day # 2!!! Hope everyone else has success and start having some fun watching it take off!
