Couple questions.

Who is bringing seeds for the infamous poker game in Niagara?

Will there will be problems crossing the border with seeds?

How many seeds should the average peon bring to lose?

A few more to add.

Do you have to be legal gambling age to participate?

Should we bring our best seeds or will we be able to get by with regular ones?

When will the game be?

What poker style?(Texas holdem, 5 card, 7 card)

the game is in the back room you will need at least one 723 or 845 to get in . you will be strip searched for cards . and there will be a enforcer to settle all disputes any weapons will be left at the door lol

Ok, you newbs need a little history lesson. Pumpkin poker is not actually "poker" in a gambler's sense. Basically, Mr. Bobier pulls up his nifty little breifcase, tosses in a seed, and runs the show. He sets the rules, we follow. He says first player with a pair of twos wins. Cards are dealt to players until someone hits a pair. Were not actually gambling for each other's seeds. Its more like a generous giveaway. Jack Larue, Beachy, Kuhn, and Welty were some of the others who threw in a seed or two following similar rules when Bobier wasnt throwing in seeds.

This is not to say that other games cant be played, im guessing with the popularity of last years game that there will be many many more intersted in this year's round. We'll have to have a few games going.

Im gonna bring a few GOOD seeds to donate as well. Im guessing that the majority would like a chance to win relatively known, proven seeds. So you may want to consider leaving the 67lb "open pollinated" cross that probably doesnt have much demand in the growers community at home.

AS for crossing the border, dont worry about it. Put a couple seeds in your front pocket and you will be fine. Its not like they do strip searches at the border. Try not looking like your guilty of a felony either, that may help.
