Just recieved email from Billy Griffiths in South Africa, who grew my 950.4 Boyton and the weight was 677.4 pounds! Think it is a new record surpassing Johan Jooste's 671 pounder, grown from the 814 Sherwood. But not 100% sure....

Congratulations Billy, a great result in a hot climate!!!

Man I should move there and not have to try and beat Holland, Emmons, LaRue Etc.... Nice Job growing in that region of the world though. it must take a lot of carefull planning and hard work!
