Hi.. I have a vine that has a pumpkin about the size of a large beach ball. It was hand pollinated by me about a month ago so I'm wondering if this is a good growth rate for a pumpkin? The seeds were the bigmax type.. Thanks

The big max only get so big, 100-200 lbs. I,ve grown those and prizewinners. Prizewinners grow up to 200-400 last year I grew one up to 280. The only bad thing is that you are pretty big already for that varity. If your growing the pumpkin for halloween you may have a hard time making it last until then. Other than that that is a good size pumpkin. good luck. mark
