whats everyones thoughts on seed thickness as it relates to a bigger pumpkin ? any one ever notice one way or the other ?

well, unrelated experience perhaps, but a couple of years ago, i planted 2 Holland 629 seeds. they were smaller than any of the other seeds i was planting for that year, about a dozen seeds altogether. the resulting seedlings, however, were about 50% bigger than the plants from the other seeds. no kidding either. stupid me i had sprouted them for someone else, a relative perhaps, officially now a REALLY NON-grower (poor plants!) so i never did get to see the offspring, thereby nulling and voiding this response except for one detail----the size of the seed, obviously in this case, did NOT matter........so i can only guess that the size of the resulting pumpkins on a given plant will not be governed by the size of the seed either. however, the two stages are so far apart that anything can happen between points A and B (seed to fruit)...goodluck!

Stelts 705 seeds I believe are small and white.
