New version is now available at SeedOutlet.com. Added a few hundred more records, some queries and a few other things. Feel free to download it and make it available at your website or do whatever else you want with it. You have to go through the order process to get it but it doesn't cost anything.
There is a "MySeedlist" feature which I think is pretty cool. One thing I noticed while looking through the pile of seed lists I have is that people struggle with organizing their collections. The MySeedList manager in AGLite 1.1 does a nice job with very little effort on your part. You select the seeds you own and parentage and significant progeny are populated automatically. Also export features if you want to share your list with others.
Thanks for all the seed lists but please don't send me anymore. If you want to add to the database download a copy and use the "Add Records" feature.

I wonder if we could set up a CVS repository (concurrent versioning system) for this, and thus allow persons to safely update the database. The result would be a database that is always current, that has all the updates that any user commits to it.
It would also be safe... if some malcontent tries to delete stuff and then commit the changes, we can always go back to a previous version.
I'm not really a software guy, but there ought to be someone among us who knows what I mean.
Regards, Cliff

Where can I get more info about AG lite? I am very interested in the genetics of AG's and I think that this would answer a lot of my questions. I downloaded it from SeedOutlet.com thinking that I had (or could get) MS-Access or at least get the runtime (don't really know what that is) but to no avail. To be real clear, and really show my ignorance I don't even know what MS Access is. Well, except that I can order a 30-day trial version for $10, figure out what it is, what is does and how to use it and then fork over $300 on day 31.
Any info, help, suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated
Cindy
