How about 91 degrees. We are having a heat wave in Beautiful Southern California. Normal temperature for this time of year is low 70's. Heat wave should last until Saturday. Have to wait till five o'clock before I can work on the patch. Cleaning up last years mess. John

That is all i want is pumpkin growing time but this snow isnt helping much. hey what can you do. ..................I should get some heating cables and put them in durring the fall. Then when pumpkin season comes around and there is still snow, just turn them on and watch the patch steam....... Cost a lot but I still can dream.

It has been nice here in Southern Oregon just as little miss Green Angel mentioned. I was able to get my cover crop mowed! I have spring fever.....Bad! I do know that we are going to get some more bad weather soon, and it is going to be hard to deal with!

I was just getting my hopes up, then we got about a foot of snow last week. Average highs are supposed to be around 37 for this time of year. But we're supposed to get up to 50 next week. Should see the within a few weeks, then the season will kick off with tests and ammendments and tilling!

I went snowboarding with the church youth group yesterday, here in sunny Northern California. Slopes are a 55 minute drive away... 70* on the snow, which was nicely groomed, and somebody got a picture of this almost-32-year-old catching air! Most people were boarding in short sleeves.

Back home temperatures reached 80.4* F. Today it was 81.3* F. Its nice to be able to open all the windows again and give the furnace a break! :-D

in the meantime, I'm turning over all the dirt in the patches with my shovel (tiller still doesn't work), and building rock walls on the perimeter of my property. Gettin' tan!

Cabin fever!!! No kidding same here weather has been nice 50's or so but rumors of a Nor’easter coming! Guess it is just March and snow is still coming!

Ditto to what Shannon said...I woke up in my dorm room this morning at 6 because I was freezing cold and the wind was whistling on my windows. The wind chill was below zero. It wasn't that bitter for Wisconsin...but HELLO it's March! It shouldn't be this cold!
