HI Jeff: other then siol amendments at the start of the season.I added cow manure 400lb or so at the start, and maybe (6)1 lb packets of Peters over the entire season plus less then a gallon of Neptunes fish&seaweed thats about it.A cheap season fertilizer wise,Now my watar bill is another issue LOL.Jeff get some real seed from this site lator in the fall, you should have no problem getting 300 to 400lb pumpkins.I grew store bought A-G seeds years back they got about the same size you have .some even stopped growing after 30 days or so.Best of luck.

Okay, here goes, but please don't share this with lots-n-lots of people:) My biggest is 810 pounds at 49 days on a 805 seed that is near and dear to my heart.
Scott, I would have pulled my 723 plant last year if I had a decent backup at the time, it was so deformed and sickly looking. It worked out well that I didn't! My 723 plant this year looks much better and has a fairly nice fruit on it... Joe P.

Don't worry Joe we only get 300,000 hits per month on this site. I'm sure they won't tell anybody! John and I hope to see your patch next weekend!

Mini-Patch grows maxi-pumpkin ! way to go! I hope it holds up for you. Here is my confession: Last year grew at a patch that was 1/2+ hour away from my house. Decided not go back this year. decided not to grow. - but couldn't stay away. planted on July 24th in rocky soil with 1/2 day sun next to my drive way. we've had a cooler than normal summer and the plant is still small but the 1st female showed last week...so i might get something for Halloween. just happy to have a plant ! :) gordon
