I decided to use clover as my cover crop this winter, man, this stuff is psycho! I thought clover was low to the ground. My clover is now 15 inches high! White dutch clover. Looks like I'll be adding a lot of organic matter:) Anyone else grow clover and what are your results with it? Mine didn't do a good job of keeping out weeds though compared to winter rye. Jim

Its what is happening under the ground that clover is good for. There are some commercial growers that use it as a living mulch. I think the benefits of this would be great.

i used red clover??? started a little to late but still did the job as the water came and went along the flood plain??
