Wow. Ask if an association is a good idea & get swamped with positive responses. Ask for help and................you can here the fruit growing in New England.

Come on folks. The SE United States has a bad reputation for not getting it done. And there's no good reason for it.

Boily Ben & the other Ausies are proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that hot climates can produce big pumpkins. Look at Mr. Keith Turner getting it done in the Bahamas! And just in case that doesn't convince us, look what talent & discipline to pricipal has done for Carlos in the hot Spain summer. These guys have proven it can be done. But they're not doing it by doing nothing.

The SE US will rise once they get together & make it happen.

Kyle, I'll send you some of my own 2003 seed. I don't have large quantities of much anything else. I do have some 550 Stead '03's from the 1337 Houghton that I can spare.

Come on guys. Rally around the SE growers so they can start getting things going. But hey SE growers, it might be nice if ya'll showed some support too! LOL

Don't tell me the possibility of failure has stifled the rebel yell. Are the Dixies too scared to even try?

Tremor, Geez Buddy..worked em up I bet! Have a friend in deep Texas who tells me he "reckons" it's too hot there, I told him to try harder, whats with these guys?? I have grown MANY things that are considered tropical here in Mn., just takes ingenuity!!
