It has been recommended to me, by several well respected growers, to attempt to raise some funds for the new SPGA by having a seed raffle at Niagara in a few weeks. I plan to be there and not only attend as a grower but to also promote the new organization.
I myself have several excellent seeds to contribute but could use a few of the top seed out there to really make this a productive raffle...we can use the help.
It looks so far that in 24 hours or so we have about a dozen growers committed to joining the SPGA and have recieved several pledges of small donations, website server use, and hopefully some leads that may develop into some weigh-offs.
We are looking for donations of some seed such as the 845 Bobier, 712 Kuhn, 801.5 Stelts, 1260 Weir, etc. for a Niagara raffle. Any of the many newer outstanding crosses out there are welcome but a few of the top proven seed would really help us raise the funds to get our website up and running, as well as establishing the membership drive and organize the first newsletter.
*Please* consider donating some seed for our raffle, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
I am also looking for help in website design and developing a SPGA logo.
Please help us, to help others in the pumpkin community by broader promotion of this wonderful hobby.
Thank you folks.

Kyle, I'm not a professional website designer by any stretch of the imagination but I can help setup a basic site if you want me to. A good example of my coding is found on my own website at http://webpages.charter.net/brianreid/index.html

It's not as fancy as a site developed by a pro but it gets the job done. Send me an email if you don't get any offers from a more experienced coder. I would be happy to help!
