Hello all, As many of you may have heard, I am seeking to formally establish a Southern Pumpkin Growers Association (SPGA). I am looking for contact names and e-mail addresses for those individuals who have experience in setting up a successful pumpkin organization..after all, to be successful one must learn from those who are successful. I also am asking for donations, possible sponsorships, volunteers, and any and all assistance and help in establishing a central weigh-off. If any of you may know of businesses or organizations in the general Southeast that may be interested in an affiliation I could sure use the help in getting started on a weigh-off sponsorship. Donations are needed to get things up and running and I am asking those interested in membership to please contact me, I believe a $25 initial membership fee to be reasonable. I also need volunteers to assume some positions including treasurer, secretary, membership committee, sponsorship committee members, etc. If you are willing to make a donation towards our new, and long overdue, organization..become a member (all are welcome, geographical boundaries do not apply)..volunteer your time or sponsorship..or help in any way, please contact me at.... [email protected] or this e-mail address, [email protected]. I thank you in advance for your help and assistance in establishing an organization that will represent the seemingly last region of the country with no formal and cohesive giant pumpkin growing organization for our ever-increasing numbers. Thank you again, Kyle Little Mountain City, TN

Thanks Keith, I hope others will follow your lead.
OK, we have a website domain name and a server. We could sure use an experienced website designer to help get a SPGA up and running. Any help we could get from the pumpkin community would be greatly appreciated guys and gals, whether it be in the form of membership, monetary or seed donations, expertise, contacts, etc. Please help us to get started if you're able to contribute, thank you.
