I have seeds saved from a 640.5 Gardner and a 770 Van cross. The pumpkins weighed 420 and 420 1/2 pounds and both were grown on the same plant...the 770 van. I also have seeds from the 640.5 saved. The 2 pumpkins on it weighed over 300 pounds, and one would have weighed much more but I pulled a stupid and allowed one to grow on its own stem causing a stem split. (I sure won't make that mistake again) Would these be good crosses to plant? I am certainly going to grow at least one of this plants out of curiousity. I do have some of the original 640.5 gardners to plant again as well. Thanks for any info, Sue

Bill....Thanks for the generous offer of seeds. I will get a bubble pack off to you soon. Send me any seeds you want me to try. Unfortunately, I only have room for three plants...so I usually start 10 seeds and cull all but the best three plants....a very hard thing to do. I had great luck with your seeds last summer. They were very vigorous plants...far better than anything I had planted previously with my seeds from Veseys. My pumpkins from the 770 Van took first and second at our local fair. Would have won at the Fredericton exhibition too if I had entered. Can't wait till this year!
