Any suggestions out there? Last year we had breakfast at a drive-in place shaped like a UFO (kinda funky) and enjoyed it. We weren't too thrilled by the food at a certain restaurant in a certain hotel we will all be well familiar with. As for things to do.....we liked the butterfly habitat.

I just spent the weekend there, very nice attractions, but to be quite frank, the food wasnt that good, especially breakfast. Fake eggs, and lousy muffins.. We ate at 2 places for breakfast, the Golden griddle on Clifton Hills, (sucked), and also at Dennys on Victoria Ave (sucked also). Ate dinner at Planet Hollywood (my meal was good - get the Fajitas). Ate the first night at the Boston Pizza place, that was cool..
My suggestion is to smoke Cubans, drink canadian beer, and forget about eating for the weekend.. That my friends, is life! I brought back a few cubans and a case of beer, and was more nervous about bringing some seeds across the border! (Of course, they were 845, 805, and 898 seeds, so that is why I was nervous! lol..
Dont miss the falls, obviously, but also check out a few wax museums.. kinda kewl.. a bit pricey, but with kids, that is what we did.. RIpleys, moviestars, etc..

I would like to visit the Hard Rock Cafe if it's anywhere near where we are staying... my mom collects the glasses, and my bro's girlfriend likes their collectable teddy bears. If anyone wants to run over to where ever it is with me, I'd be glad to go....(I'm sure their bar is well stocked as well for an early start).

There are actually 2 hard rock cafe's in Niagara Falls, one in Canada and one in NY. The Canadian one is in one of the hotels right at the Falls. I haven't been to the NY one yet. Didn't even know about it until after I returned from my trip there.

Thanks Al. If you send me 20 bucks for the green jacket raffle, you might be lucky.. heck, you were already lucky with the Super Bowl, so this could be your year! haahaa...
Hard Rock Cafe is located on Falls ave, just by the Casino Niagra. Also right there is Planet Hollywood. There is also a Hard Rock Cafe on the American side. The Americana is downtown Niagara, but only like 2 miles away from this area known as Clifton Hills. (Just around the corner from Clifton Hills actually).

There is also a "beer store" not too far down the road from the AmeriCana. The area does have some "lousy" food. There is a German restaraunt on top of the hills behind the Falls. Food is a bit pricy but they serve delicious home cooked German dishes. I've also eaten at the "Oh Canada" dinner theater. Food was good, family style, and "all you could get". Only problem was, when you wanted seconds, your waiter was conveniently busy performing on stage. We also ordered a pizza/wings combo deal from one of the locals that was good. Big Raguu raved about the food and portions of spaghetti and ribs at a place nearby. I'll provide more details if I find them!

yes, the Oh Canada food was good. As I recall though, I think you need reservations.
