This happens every year, for whatever reason but for some reason this year has been worse than others. I can't believe the 'he did this' and 'you said that' posts flying around here. May you be reminded that this is probably the most helpful community you'll ever find on the net and one of the tightest groups out there...until winter comes. Then people get bored and decide to start accusing and pointing fingers over things that should be kept private, petty bickering and childish drivel. The result is a place that is not attractive to new members and gives Ken and John a bad rap. Is that what we're after? What have we got for a place to go and learn, not to mention network with other growers in this hobby if not here? I for one have backed off coming in as much as I used to, and I lived here before, due to the 'trash' that I see of member attacking member. That's what email is for. Is it really necessary to drag the whole community down because someone has a beef with someone else? Maybe we should stop and think about how much this community has given to us as individuals and whether what we post is positive and useful o detrimental to the whole site. If it doesn't then it probably should be dealt with somewhere else. Before long, Ken and John will get fed up with it, I know I would.
The purpose of this post is to make everyone think. This is a great place that becomes like every other site when we allow ourselves to post attacks and negative posts. If you want this place to remain as the great, free, enormously helpful community it is, maybe we should start thinking before we post...all the time.
And as far as ripping me over the post, if you feel you must, feel free. My only concern is this community, the friends I have here and all I've learned and continue to learn from BP.

I'm reading into this that I DON'T care about this site, the community and the people here. This is a matter of peoples security, maybe a different approach would have been better, maybe we should all post all the links and crap we get on here before we scan it to see if it is clean, and who is dragging the whole community down, Geez, Anyone of us could expect the same kind of flack if we did this kind of thing, for that matter, lots of S%$@ gets slung around here on completely irrelevent subjects; that would not effect everyone of us, so I figure that we can do three things, speak up, and take the blame. stand up and complain or sit in the corner and cry, Now if I had done this sort of thing, I would 1. apologize 2. take all the flack and know I deserved it

bah humbug. take a deep breath, count from 10 to 1, then get out the calendar and count the days till the dirt melts. then pray you don't go insane before then. that's all i gotta say.

I agree with what stunner is saying. I have been taking a break from posting too because of all the negetive posts swarming around here. I am very tired of all of it!
