Who here has used the wish bone style pruning strategy? I know Steve Daletas used it with good success in 2001 growing the 1230 and 1016 on the Stelts 705. Any one else.

Were the fruit sizes any different?
How many square feet were used per plant?
What were some of the weights of the pumpkins?
Just wondering.

I planted a 1074 Calai like that last year. The plant size was about 800 sq ft. The fruit on the main was 522.5 lbs and the other on the side main was 322. The patch that it grew in had some problems last year and nothing got very big. I think it worked out ok all things considered, and will most likely grow more that way.
