Allright, that's good to hear. Seeds arent destroyed. It would have been worse Paul if you got an empty bubble pack saying thtat the seeds were destroyed. There's hope for the other bubble packs that Wayne has sent out.

The letter says the postmark from Wayne was Jan 12th, it was intercepted on Jan. 20th in Detroit Michigan. It disposition is stated as package returned to origin by Amy ( can't tell last name) badge # 3273.

I got busted too, same note as you guys. I don't get how some check points send these on saying they're fine, others destroy the seeds and send the packages on their way, and others just return the packages?!?

I just received a notice today from US Dept of Agriculture that my seeds from Wayne had been intercepted and returned to him. I just hope he got the seeds back in good condition. More bureaucracy, I won't get into the political stuff. Wayne emailed and said he would send the seeds from the U.S. Thanks Wayne

Shouldn't somebody explain the US Custom authorities that the Canadian pumpkin seeds aren't terrible biological terrorism agents??? Just one glimmering idea........Carlos

So is this the result of our green customs sticker triggering the inspection? And the seeds are then absconded with because of the missing Phyto-sanitary certificate?....Steve

Bob, Your not far from my boyhood summer home in Dexter MI. My Grandmother an Uncle lived side by side on North Territorial road. There was shooting range nearby. They had together a 1,000 or so acres. Uncle Wally had a veggie patch about 4,000 sq. ft. and my Grand mother ran a little variety store. The property was sold off when I was younger. Geeze I wish I had that place now. Imagine the pumpkins I could grow. Wouldn't have to worry about sending my seeds to Canada either.
