i have choosen to plant two seeds from seedoutlet.com because of thier shape and color... if i shade my pumpkin does that mean its color wont be as vibrant as it would if i didnt shade?

Last year my pumpkin was actually smoother and glossier because I shaded it.

Joey, Be advised that just because the "parents" have nice shape or color, that is no guarantee that their offspring will look the same. I've seen some real disappointments in the past.
BTW...that applies to human offspring as well! :>)
