Does anyone know what this has produced? Can't get on the AGGC. Also it was really a squampkin but judged a pumpkin and sooooo ugly so does anyone know if it throws pumpkins or squash. The cross is 723 Bobier X 801.5 Stelts. I like the cross so I think I'll plant it. Thanks.

AGGC doesn't list progency on the 890 Houghton. It was 17.69% heavy thou.

I feel it is a great seed and should show out pumpkins, not squampkins. However, there are many 723 x 801.5 crosses out there, at least as many as 846 x 723 crosses, and like them, the results of their different offspring aren't similar at all. If you want to know about how one of those theoretically promising crosses work out, you have to plant it several times. You can guess looking to shape, weigh and colour of the parents, but no doubt that the only safe way is to give they a try.

There's 10 of those crosses listed on AGGC, most notable being the 960 Rose. Overall the cross seems to do well. CH did that same cross 3 times that year....890, 778, 728.
