People kept asking to buy my AGs last year even though they werent very big. This year I was thinking of giving people a card with information on how to take care of the pumpkin (cover before frost, don't drop on foot, that sort of thing). Does anyone have other tips I could give someone who buys a big pumpkin? Maybe you have experience with happy, or unhappy, customers. Thanks

How about don't eat the seeds...if you use systemic or harsh type insecticides or pesticides...Chris

not for your customers but if you give the pumpkins calcium baths before harvesting them they can last up to 100% longer.
I would also advise them not to throw them out of a 4th floor window BEFORE checking if there are kids in the driveway. I almost made that mistake on halloween....he he! Michel

Chris I won't be using pesticides, but aren't AG seeds too tough for eating?
