Im letting Shannon grow another pumpkin. I didnt even know it was growing until I checked today and it is the size of a volleyball within just 4 days. The stem on it is huge. I havent measured the stem... but the stem looks to be a 10 inches long. I'll measure here in a bit. Whats the longest stem anybody has seen on a pumpkin?

I dont think stem length has that much to do with size.

A longer stem may help down the road, giving you more to work with to prevent stem stress.

So... is a 7 inch stem average for an AG?

I think 7 inches is longer than a typical AG stem
