Hi 'NEWBIE" here.I have two seeds 882Pugh2003 & 804Pugh2003DMG.Should i cross the two are let nature take its course? My brother has 777Kilbert2003est and a 803.4Davies2002 ,should i swap one of my PUGH'S to cross with one of one of my brothers seeds.I know i have alot to learn put i caught the pumpkin fever last year and now I'm hooked please help any info would be great, thanks.

Mr. D, All those seeds have excellant parentage! The Davies is the only "proven" seed in the list and it has produce one larger than itself. Based on the genetic pool in these seeds, I see no reason why one could not grow a 900+ pounder from any of these seeds. Remember, genetics are only part of the essential factors to grow a big pumpkin. Some will argue that ones soil and weather has a greater influence than genetics!
