Help needed. The vine on my Dill757 has a split on the main vine (a bad split) about 1 foot from the root. Now a secondary vine has a bad split in it. The plant was doing good even with this problem, females just starting to come on. Two days in a row now the plant is completely wilted. When i water it it looks o k for a few hrs. then blah. I dont think water is the problem. What to do? Should i cut the split vines, leaving 1 or 2 secondarys?Light amounts of Nitrogen was stopped 2 weeks ago. Thank you

At a minimum, I would bury the splits.
I am not sure about culling them... anyone else?

I might also get a powder fungicide that you add water to, to make a paste and apply it to the split
