Just a reminder to all those interested: Premiering on Home and Garden Telivision tomorrow Jan.1st at 1:00pm ET "Garden Giants II" Bigger and Better hosted by Paul James. Geoff Peirce from NH will be the featured Guest on Growing Giant Pumpkins. They spent an entire day with Geoff at his pumpkin patch. Many interviews were conducted with several of Geoffs fellow growers and friends.See the 1213, and the 1186 be harvested and transported to the Topsfield Fair. It should be alot of fun and a good chance to relive the weigh off excitment... Jim

After checking and setting my dish to record,it appears that it starts at 1:15pm. So if you do see it at 1:00pm, be patient, it may be a few minutes late. Happy New Year. Chip.

It will air again this Sunday at 9:00pm ET January 4th HGTV. I was the guy that was celebrating and waving a clenched fist after my pumpkin tipped the scales at 1074lbs....A textbook finish to an awesome way-off!

That was a great show with lots of familiar faces. Jim B., when your pumpkin tipped 1074, you looked like you were on one of those mini trampolines catching some serious air:-) Joe P.

Nice show and a nice shot of Jim-B. I also caught a glance of the more elusive John D and his BigPumpkins t-shirt.

WILL SOMEONE.........PLEASE TAPE THAT SHOW. I am dumber than a hoe handle when it comes to catching one on tape. It will make a dandy association meeting program. It would be a dandy continuous play at any gathering of pumpkineers like a backyard gathereing point during a patch tour.
Touch base with me if you have that tape...please. It is a priceless jewel.
