Perhaps some of you looks about the moon...
Will you start your seedlings on "fruit day" or "vegetable day"?
Thanks in advance.

I, wish I could say that planting by the moon, or any of the tasks laid out by planetary influence actually worked. But I can't. I have tried side beside comparison plantings, several times, to test the theories, I have seen no difference at all. I also have fed those new-age microbiotic gardeners who have delayed plantings for "cosmic" reasons, or have spent their time on some hilltop packing cow horns with various concoctions and burying them , instead of being at home tending their gardens, If you have the time and want to try , do so, but after a time or two of waiting to plant, then drawing a week of rain, when your "planets" are right, and I think you'll find that the only thing that makes a real difference is that your seeds won't grow in those packets.

You could buy the Old Farmer's Almanac 2004 issue which is on sale at news stands right now. But bring it right home & lock it up. You don't want anyone thinking you're a terrorist or anything. LOL

Dave,
April 20 is mighty early for AG in this area. I'd delay starting those seeds for about a week. I'm going to start on April 29th or 30th....moon shine or no moon "sign"! :>)
