just wanted your opinions. i have about 6 pumkins ranging from 20-35 lbs. seem to be growing 1.5 inch in diameter a day. i live in vcr bc canada and wont have to worry about frost for a long time. vine growth has slowed to nothing.my question is am i behind and do i stand a chance at a big one with present weights?? thx northcountry

define "big one" ? if you mean 800 lbs- sorry no way if you mean 500 lbs- probably not if you mean 300 lbs- maybe if you mean 200 lbs- you have a good shot if you mean 100 lbs- yes for sure- unless something drastically bad happens.

thanks for the reply. i am going to go to the carnation weight off oct 2/2001 as long as i have a pumpkin in hand. right now ill continue. learned alot so far and will use this for next year. what i really need is some damn fine seeds.
